A note from the ROA Chief Executive Michael Harris

Michael Harris newsDear Member

If you are not intending to come to the Racehorse Owners Association's Annual General Meeting on June 23 at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower Hotel, London W1, then please send any questions you may have for the ROA Council.

Time-permitting, these questions will be read out at the meeting and answered by the Council. We will then email you their answers.

We do, of course, hope that you can be at the meeting in person but, if this is not possible, and you would like to ask something pertinent to either the way racing is being run, about racehorse ownership or to the ROA itself please email me at: mharris@roa.co.uk

All members of the association are welcome to attend the meeting at which Rachel Hood will be making her inaugural speech as President. There will also be a presentation made by the Chief Executive of the Jockey Club, Simon Bazalgette, who will be speaking about JCR’s 14 racecourses and then taking questions.

I would also like to remind you there are still places available for the Champagne reception and lunch which follows the AGM, during which we will be entertained by the best-selling author and racing enthusiast, Jilly Cooper. If you would like to book tickets please contact us on
020 7152 0200 or visit the ROA's website.

I hope to see you there, but, if not, please do email me.

Yours,

Michael
