Can’t decide which day to go on? Here’s a reminder of what’s on:
Wednesday 15 June: Prince of Wales's Stakes, which is contested by four-year-olds and older over 1m 2f.
Thursday 16 June: As well as being ‘Ladies’ Day’ at Royal Ascot, the Group 1 Gold Cup will take place on this day. Staged over 2m 4f, the race is the longest Group 1 in Britain and is contested by the best Flat stayers.
Friday 17 June: The feature race will be the Coronation Stakes, which traditionally brings together the leading three-year-old fillies in Europe. The King Edward VII Stakes will also take place on this day, colloquially called the ‘Ascot Derby,’ as its conditions mirror those of the Epsom Classic.
