ROA / ToteSPORT Owner-Sponsorship Scheme for ROA members

Totesport have agreed to extend their deal with the ROA to sponsor Owners' silks. The deal, now worth £200,000 to our members, is broken down into four separate schemes, each of which runs for 12 months.

The benefits to ROA members who join the Totesport Owner-sponsorship scheme are:

If you are not already registered for VAT, just think of the savings that could be made.

Owners with an interest of at least 50% of a horse can register for VAT. In the case of a partnership horse, where an owner has less than a 50% share, the racing partnership may register as a VAT partnership.

If you would like to participate in the next scheme, please complete the downloadable Sponsorship Agreement form and return it to the ROA office.

Sole Owners of participating horses must be members of the ROA. In the case of partnership horses, ROA members must own at least 50% of the horse. It is only necessary for one Partner in the horse to sign the agreement.

Sponsored horses will need to carry the totesport logos on the chest and collar of the jockey colours.

Upon receipt of a signed agreement form we will confirm your acceptance onto the scheme and ask you to arrange for the colours to be carried on the sponsored horse to be sent to Horseracing Enterprises for the logos to be attached free of charge. The turnaround time from receipt of colours to despatch by Horse Racing Enterprises is usually 48 hours.
